Frequently Asked Questions

At House of Valor Integrative Medical Concierge, we understand that choosing a healthcare model outside of the traditional system often comes with questions. Concierge medicine is designed to feel different—more personal, more proactive, and more accessible—and it’s natural to want clarity about how it works, what it includes, and why it might be the right choice for you or your business.

This FAQ page was created to provide detailed answers to the most common questions we hear from patients, families, and employers. Here, you’ll learn about our memberships, services, benefits, and philosophy of care, as well as practical information about billing, insurance, and access. Our goal is to give you confidence as you explore what it means to join the House of Valor and take a more empowered approach to your health.

What is concierge medicine?

Concierge medicine is a membership-based model that provides patients with direct access to their physician, extended appointment times, and personalized care. Unlike traditional healthcare, concierge medicine allows same-day visits, direct physician access, and more preventive and wellness-focused services.

How is House of Valor different from a regular doctor’s office?

We intentionally limit our physician-to-patient ratio to about 300:1 (compared to 3,000 in traditional systems). This ensures more personalized care, longer appointment times (up to 60 minutes), and same-day scheduling.

Do you accept health insurance?

House of Valor does not bill insurance. Our memberships are designed to replace many of the frustrations associated with insurance-based care. However, many patients use HSA or FSA accounts to cover membership fees and services.

Do you accept new patients right now?

Yes. However, because we limit our physician-to-patient ratio, space is limited. We recommend enrolling as soon as possible to secure membership.

Dr Dhani was very nice and professional. She answers our questions and didn’t make us feel like we were rushed. The office was able to get my husband in as soon as they could as he works a lot of hours. The office staff was also very friendly and professional.

Dr Dhani was amazing. She knew my fears, she knew I needed my knees better, she knew my need to bike ride., she knew when to take me down a notch because I was a little high strung going in. I love that she said "I need to bring you back down". Long story short. I thought I was going to need immediate surgery. I do not right now. She gave me some shots in my knees and a day later I could bend my knee again. Thank you, Dr. Dhani. You are my hero right now 😉

My husband was seen by Dr. Dhani for ongoing knee issues. First impressions are so important. Very impressed with her knowledge and care plan for him. Dr. Dhani is without question very personable and treats you as a person and not just another patient. I highly recommend her. It was worth the visit.
